Holds a Ph.D in Applied Linguistics from Unicamp, completed a doctoral internship at the University of Viadrina (Germany) and has a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from PUC/SP. She is currently the bilingual education graduate program coordinator at Instituto Singularidades where she also works as a professor of the undergraduate program in Education.

Renata Condi de Souza
Holds a PhD and an MA in Applied Linguistics and Language Studies (PUC-SP), postgraduate diplomas in Interactive Technologies Applied to Education (PUC-SP), Modern Education (PUCRS) and Transformative Education (PUCRS), teaching degrees in Languages – English (PUC-SP) and Education (Universidade Federal de São Carlos – UFSCar), and a BA in Translation (PUC-SP). She has certificates in education and technology by Harvard Graduate School of Education, in the USA, and Tampere University of Applied Science, in Finland..

Maria Teresa de la Torre Aranda
(Terry) holds an M.A. in TESL from the School for International Training, in Vermont, and a B.A. in Language Arts from USP. Terry has extensive experience as a teacher and teacher educator in different settings, both in ELT and bilingual education. Former pedagogical coordinator at Global Me Bilingual School, Terry also coordinated the Middle School English Program at Escola Beit Yaacov for five years. She currently teaches in the Bilingual Education graduate program at Instituto Singularidades and acts as consultant to the English Language Arts program at Beacon School. Her areas of interest include teacher education, assessment and curriculum design.

Camila Dias
Holds a degree in Language and Arts from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and a master’s degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC). She has worked as a teacher and coordinator for over 15 years. She currently works as a teacher working with English as an additional language for kindergarten and Year 1. She is also a professor at Instituto Singularidades, where she teaches “Literacy, biliteracy and reading and writing practices” at the Bilingual Education graduate course. Camila is a member of GEEB (Study Group on Bilingual Education) at PUC-SP and her research areas are: bilingual education, multiliteracy and childhood.

Ronaldo Lima Jr.
Is a professor in the Department of English Language Studies at the Federal University of Ceará. He holds a PhD in Linguistics, an MA in Applied Linguistics and a BA in English Language Teaching, all from the University of Brasília. Ronaldo has been involved in ELT since 2000, teaching English and training English teachers. His main academic interest is in second language acquisition, especially in the phonological development of non-native languages and in the effects of explicit instruction.

Isabela Villas Boas
Holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Arizona State University and a Doctorate in Education from Universidade de Brasília, with a focus on Literacy Studies. She is currently a Managing Partner at Troika. Before this, she was the Corporate Academic Manager at Casa Thomas Jefferson, Brasília, where she worked for 34 years. .

Mónica Salvo
Is a graduate teacher of English and a Sworn Public translator. She holds a post- graduate degree in Human Resources Management by Universidad de Belgrano and is a certified and accredited Neurolanguage Coach. Monica is also a Mindfulness practitioner graduated from University of California (UCLA) and holds a diploma in Social and Emotional Learning from San Diego University. She currently runs her own Educational Institution, InspirED Consultora Educativa, reaching out to hundreds of students and teachers around the world. As an international speaker, she has presented extensively in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, IATEFL UK, Peru, Germany, TESOL France, TESOL Spain, ASCD United States with plenary, semi plenary and workshop sessions. She has authored 6 Social and Emotional Learning sections and activities for different levels and books. She is a guest Professor at Universidad de San Andrés, Argentina and teacher of the postgraduate studies on Social and Emotional Learning for Comunidad Neuroeducas and Asociación Chilena de Neurociencias educativas.

Cristian R. Aquino-Sterling
Serves as Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Diversity and International Affairs and as in the College of Education at San Diego States University. Dr. Aquino-Sterling current research focuses on 21st century innovations in bilingual teacher education theory, curriculum, and pedagogies.
